EmDo Expansion update - part 2

I just posted some thoughts about the EmDo expansion. The purpose of this post is to start revising the tech cards and stuff that I would like to include in the expansion, and some of the specifics.

[This is similar to - probably worse than - Scorched Earth Policy I thought it would be good if it costs Destroyers rather than Research)

* For Deep Space Probes I have added "Play another Action" to my prototype copy... I think it feels more appropriately powerful that way.

* Would it be cool to add a Fighter or maybe a Destroyer to Synthesize and Deep Space Probes (i.e. you could discard those cards in lieu of discarding a Fighter/Destroyer when paying a cost that requires a Fighter/Destroyer)? I guess that depends on how useful it is to have those icons on cards in the first place.

* For the level 2 Warfare Techs I am thinking the cost should be 5 Fighters OR 5 Research icons. Similarly, the level 3's should be 7 Fighters OR 7 Research.

* For Wealth of Knowledge I am going to try a permanent tech that lets you use standard Survey cards to BOOST any role, or to use 2 standard Survey cards as 1 symbol to FOLLOW any role. Didn't want it to be too good at level 2.

* There might be room for both versions of Scientific Method (one called Scientific Method, the other called Scientific Discovery)

* I made a tech card (Fleet Upgrade: Deestroyer that turns 1 Fighter into a Destroyer. I made another called Fleet Upgrade: Dreadnaught which turns a Destroyer into a Dreadnaught. I wonder if those shouldn't be combined into 1 card that does either of those things as an action.

I forget what else I changed while actually making the prototype. I'd like to give it a try - hopefully tomorrow or this weekend.
